Myths and truths about makeup

Myth - Mascara always enters the upper and lower lashes.

True - Yes, a little mascara can do miracles. The eyes look bigger and more rested. But the mascara in the lower lashes emphasizes dark circles. Also, with age, eyelashes become more fragile and mascara is more likely to make knots.

Myth - Neutral shades on the lips are preferable for the elderly, because the shades make the lips look smaller.

True - A touch of intense lip color can transform your lips and make you look younger. Instead of a matte lipstick, choose a lipstick with a lighter, glossy texture that gives lips a pale transparent color and is less likely to run on the vertical lines of the lips.

Myth - The concealer must be a tone lighter than make up.

Truth - This will pull the area under the eyes. For a more natural look, use a concealer that matches the skin color and apply it after make-up. If you think you need more coverage for dark circles, choose a very light pink eye brightener.

Myth – You do not need primers if you moisturizing your skin properly and you apply the make up correctly.

Truth - With age, primer is becoming more and more necessary. It makes the make-up last longer and stops the absorption of pigments from the skin. It also reduces grease while filling thin wrinkles and large pores. Use the product after hydration and before applying the make-up.
